With a dedicated 12-inch speaker and 100 watts of power, the KATANA-100/212 amp delivers an impressive range of gig-worthy tones that cut gracefully through any type of band. Thanks to its unique, efficient design and innovative power control function, the amplifier is also suitable for home playing, offering inspiring sounds and response at low volumes. Additionally, the KATANA-100/212 has integrated access to a wide selection of BOSS effects, which can be customized using the free BOSS Tone Studio editing software. Up to 15 different effects can be configured in the amplifier at the same time, which allows you to take fully prepared sounds to the stage.
KATANA Version 3: Added effect types, new real-time control assignments, and stereo effects when recording via USB
The firmware update enhances the KATANA line of stage amps, adding more touring versatility. New effect types include the legendary Roland DC-30 Analog Chorus-Echo, the classic BOSS GE-10 Graphic Equalizer, and the expressive 95E wah pedal for iconic sounds perfectly matched to the KATANA Brown boost. In addition, BOSS Tone Studio offers the ability to assign your favorite parameters for quick access via the front panel effect buttons, and create custom control assignments for up to three connected expression pedals. And when tracking in a DAW via USB, you can now capture true stereo sound with Katana's many mod, EQ, delay and reverb effects.
KATANA Version 3 software is free for all KATANA users, available in the Downloads section from December 2018.
