T‌AlkTalkbox Synth from TC-Helicon is a vocal effects processor controlled by a lead guitar enclosed in a metal casing, providing four styles of talk box effects and synth sounds. The talk box effects group is nothing more than a simulation of the famous effects equipped with a long tube, the end of which the guitarist placed in his mouth and modulated the sound with their movement - thanks to TC-Helicon this little hygienic performance is slowly becoming a thing of the past. Talkbox offers the Classic mode, highly saturated, reminiscent of the 1970s effects, cleaner Modern mode, reminiscent of vocoder effects, and their Classic + and Modern + versions, where a lead guitar signal is added for unison singing with the guitar. Synth modes are robot-talk colors, differing in wave shape, but they are all controlled by the lead guitar sounds.

Regardless of whether the effect is turned on, the AdptiveTone functions are still active in the background - the automatic system regulating the color, compression, de-esser and noise gate, and Correction - the adjustable system that pulls a bit of deficiencies in aiming at the tone. Of course, it will not replace work or talent, however, it will support the singer in moments of weakness. It is worth remembering that Talkbox and Synth effects provide information about the key of the guitar playing single notes. The on-board Reverb system is a module known from other TC-Helicon devices with three reverb styles: Club, Room, Hall.
