Each track has the ability to play samples, so you can import your own sounds. Use your own voice or the sound of your favorite instrument from the computer. Imported audio can be syncronized with the MC-101's tempo or passed through a variety of built-in effects.
Create tracks ready for streaming or performances.
With a wide selection of effects on the MC-101, you can make the most of your music. Each track has an independent effects processor with many variations. The chorus effect will add depth to the pads and other synth sounds. Delay and reverb effects can create incremental spatial colors and animate delicate sequences. The distortion and simulation of amps will add grain and intensity to synths, guitars, drums and more. You can run your entire mix through master effects like filters, a bit-crusher, and a group compressor that puts it all together.
Create and share effects with the world. With a single cable.
When you're ready to continue working on your songs or to share them with the world, all you need to do is connect the MC-101 to your computer with a single USB cable. It has the advanced capabilities of the USB audio interface, which allows you to rip the entire mix or individual tracks to your DAW program. You can also sample sounds from your DAW to load a backing track or sound from your favorite synthesizer for use in a live performance.
