SIMPLY REFINED
The BOSS 200 Series introduces a new generation of pedals that deliver advanced sound and versatility in a space-saving size. Handy controls and functional switches make operation simple and intuitive, while onboard memory lets you store multiple settings for instant recall. The 200 Series models feature premium audio quality with 32-bit AD/DA, 32-bit internal processing and 96kHz sample rates plus support for additional control via external switches, expression pedals or MIDI.

The DD-200 Digital Delay offers the sounds of the flagship DD-500 in a smaller size. Twelve different modes offer an inspiring variety of delay, from modern digital to classic analog, allowing you to blend everything from basic echoes to rich pads and everything in between. There's also an independent looper that's always ready to use, and a selectable transfer function for seamless transitions between memory banks.

  • Studio-quality sound quality in its class with 32-bit AD/DA, 32-bit floating-point processing and 96kHz sampling rate
  • Twelve versatile modes provide a wide variety of delay types
  • Quick, easy operation with manual control
  • Real-time panel setting and four memory banks to store your favorite sounds
  • Looper phrases up to 60 seconds
  • The panel lock function disables the controls to prevent unwanted changes
  • Configurable multi-function footswitches for tempo, memory selection, looper control and more
  • Support for extended control via external footswitches, expression pedal or MIDI
  • Full MIDI I/O equipped with mini TRS jacks (BMIDI-5-35 adapter cable available separately)
  • Micro USB slot for firmware updates
  • Analog crossover and buffered bypass
  • Runs on PSA series AC adapter or three AA batteries
Twelve modes, unlimited sounds
With 12 different modes to choose from, the DD-200 provides virtually any type of delay effect in an incredibly compact size. There are super clean digital delays, grainy analog echoes and retro sounds from the Roland RE-201 Space Echo and Binson Echorec 2. There are also plenty of options for creating reverse effects, lo-fi tones and pulsating rhythmic sounds with layered delays. And with Tera Echo, Shimmer and Pad Echo modes, immersive sounds are available at the flick of a knob.

Save and restore your favorite settings
The DD-200 offers four onboard memory banks for saving your favorite setups and recalling them during your performance. It also has a Manual setting that reflects the current status of the panel, basically giving you a fifth configuration to choose from. You can browse the cues with the DD-200's footswitch and limit the scrolling range or assign cues directly for quicker access. By enabling the carry function, active delay repetition will continue to sound as you switch cues for smooth, free-flowing transitions.

A looper you can take anywhere
Whenever you're ready, pressing the DD-200's two footswitches will put you in looper mode. Up to 60 seconds of mono recording time is available, and operation is simple and direct with built-in switches. And because the looper engine works independently, you can create expressive loops with any of the DD-200's rich delay sounds.

Quick sound selection
The DD-200 has a simple interface that makes it easy to choose your sound, even in the heat of the show. Basic latency parameters are available in dedicated controls for direct, pop-up access. In each mode, the function of the PARAM knob changes to parameters adapted to the selected type, providing extended control without having to delve into menus.

Real-time control
By default, the DD-200's multi-function footswitches provide access to basic functions such as skip, memory forward, tempo, and looper controls. But you can easily assign them to storage and many other functions. External control is also possible via footswitches or an expression pedal, and MIDI I/O is available on space-saving mini TRS jacks. Via MIDI, you can link multiple 200 series pedals and select a memory for all of them at once, and control a wide range of functions from MIDI devices such as the ES-8 and ES-5 effect switches.
