High-quality recording and large storage
JTC Pro is an advanced looper with simplified controls. It is a cube with two switches and 6 hours of recording and a memory of 256 tracks. The audio recording quality is 24-bit and 44.1kHz.
Operation with two switches
Looper and drum control are separate, left footswitch (LOOP) controls record and layering, and start / stop plays recorded loop tracks. It also serves as a tap tempo (Smart TAP), with which you can set the tempo for the drums by tapping them before recording the song.
Looper operation
There are 2 ways to record a loop in JTC Pro; Record and Play (RP) and Record and Overdub (RD).
In Record and Overdub action, JTC Pro will be overlapping overtime over and over again while playing back previous recordings.
High quality drum sound - intelligent transitions
The right footswitch (RHYTHM) controls the drums and adds transitions during your performance. The length of the fade is one measure (depends on a 4/4 or 3/4 beat). When you press the RHYTHM button, the drumming starts immediately and continues to play until the end of the current measure. For example, if you press the switch on the third beat, the length of the drums fade will only be 2 beats.
There are 40 drum presets and transitions, including for Pop, Rock, Blues, Metal and many others in 3/4 and 4/4 time signatures.
Start / Stop modes
NUX JTC Drum & Loop Pro has very useful modes for creating an improvisation that sounds like a pre-arranged song. There are 2 start modes and 3 stop modes.
Boot modes
Press and hold the Stop Modes button and select the start mode: Ar - Auto-Recording or Nr - Normal Recording.
Normal Recording - classic hit and play loop. JTC Pro will start recording when you press the Loop switch.
Auto-Recording - In this mode, when you press the Loop Switch, the JTC Pro will be ready to record. Recording will start immediately after the guitar strings are struck.
Stop modes
After you've recorded your tracks, you can simply hit the Stop Modes button and select one of the modes and finish the track the way you like.
Normal Stop - Pressing the Loop switch twice to stop the loop immediately.
Fine Stop - Double Press: The song will play to the end and then stop (don't forget to hit the Finishing Chord after it has stopped).
Fade Out - The track volume will decrease to 0 slowly over 10 seconds, then stop.
ONE-SHOT mode
One Shot mode is very useful for playing any downloaded background music without looping. You can load any song to play, the supported file type is 44.1kHz 24bit stereo wave (.wav)
You can also download NUX Audio File Converter to change the audio file format to be compatible with JTC Pro (it does not process the audio signal, it changes the file ID so that JTC Pro can recognize the file to play. The main file must be in wav or mp3 format, check the support page).
Advanced output options and frequency optimization (FR ON / OFF)
The JTC Pro has 2 outputs and several output modes: stereo connection with two amplifiers, or turning on the built-in column simulation for the Right Output jack to send the guitar signal directly to the PA system.
JTC Pro drum sound is high quality real sound, when connected to any guitar amp or PA system you will hear the full range and dynamic drums, however if you are using a small amp for practice there is optional drum frequency optimization. This makes the drums sound clearer and helps you get the true sound with smaller amps.
