Roland has taken digital hand percussion into a whole new area with the unique and versatile HandSonic HPD-20, which is the perfect instrument for a wide range of music makers, from percussionists and drummers to electronic dance performers, composers and producers. Featuring the famous SuperNATURAL sounds and supported by multi-effects, the HPD-20 offers 850 dynamic ready-to-use sounds, plus the ability to load your own sounds via USB stick. Its 13 ultra-sensitive pads provide flexible control of sounds played onboard and external MIDI instruments, all with unprecedented expression. HandSonic pads are also perfect for music applications on your computer for playing virtual instruments, for recording MIDI and audio for DAW programs and many other applications. To build a super compact drum kit, you can hook up a Roland pad and hi-hat controller to the HPD-20 using the built-in trigger input.
