Tascam DR-10CH
The DR-10C series recorders are connected to tie-bar microphones, thus creating a compact recording system. The DR-10CS is designed to work with Sennheiser microphones. An optional kit for Sony / Rams microphones (AK-DR10CR) is available.
DR-10C are equipped with inputs and outputs, so they can work independently or in combination with wireless transmitters. If a transmitter is used, the recorder acts as a backup device, protecting against wireless signal loss during recording. In the case of lectures or services, the DR-10C allows you to record the entire content before it goes to the sound system. Also during events such as weddings or reality shows, the DR-10C can act as a compact system that records sound from personal microphones.
The lightweight DR-10C can run for up to four hours on a single AAA battery. The recording is made on a standard microSD memory card. Registration features include automatic gain control and a high-pass filter. The operation of the Dual Recording function is based on the parallel recording of the safety path, with a lower level, which means that in the event of an overdrive of the main path, a distortion-free backup path is available.
Working as a backup recorder, connected between the wireless microphone and the transmitter
The DR-10C recorder can be connected between a microphone and a wireless system transmitter of a supported brand. Connect the microphone to the recorder and the latter, using the cable included in the set, to the transmitter. It is a perfect configuration for using the DR-10C as a backup recorder - guaranteeing that the recorded sound, transmitted wirelessly, will not be interrupted.
Support for wireless systems from several manufacturers
The selection includes systems manufactured by several manufacturers. Standard models work with Sennheiser and Shure wireless systems. In addition, Sony and RAMSA systems can be used, but this requires the installation of optional panels with the appropriate connectors.
Note: The Sony / RAMSA panel is equipped with a slide switch that allows the correct configuration of the connection.
Compact and lightweight
The DR-10C is a compact device - it weighs only 51 grams in a hand. Moreover, it is designed so that it can be carried with the transmitter as one device. To attach to the transmitter, you can use the attached silicone tape and a durable strap holder - this gives a number of ways of use, depending on the situation.
Use it as a compact, portable PCM recorder
DR-10C can be used in situations where the performer or the speaker may be outside the range of the wireless system. When not used with a wireless system, the DR-10C, in combination with a tie-clip microphone, is the ideal recorder for stand-alone use, compact and easy to carry.
Designed with the reliability of field recording in mind
It often happens that there is only one occasion to register a given event. This recorder is equipped with functions to prevent potential problems that could arise from incorrect setting of the recording level - including the parallel recording function that allows you to set the highest possible recording level, while simultaneously recording a backup track with a lower level. In addition, the recorder has an automatic gain control that adjusts the input level to the volume of the source audio. Additionally, a limiter function is available.
Slip write switch and hold function prevent accidental actions during recording
A number of solutions, including the parallel recording function, which works by saving the safety path, with a lower level
Locking files before the battery is fully discharged prevents the loss of saved data
Built-in clock and BWF file support (time information is saved in metadata)
Record control function and headphone output allow you to monitor the recorded material
Possibility of data transfer between DR-10C recorders
The infrared transmission function allows you to easily transfer settings from one DR-10C to the next. This function can be used when several recorders are used and the necessary settings have already been made in one of them.
