The BOSS WAZA Amp Head is a 150W amplifier, created by the same spirit of innovation that has been used since the dawn of the rock era to find the perfect sound. The WAZA Amp Head and accompanying speakers are rooted in a long history of amplifier development and offer the original sound of the first tube stackable amplifiers. In addition, in line with the evolution of the ideal rock sound, BOSS engineers also invented their own interpretation of this sound, called "WAZA Brown Sound". While influenced by historic innovations, the WAZA Amp Head offers modern expandability and reliability that range from classic to WAZA Brown expressiveness. BOSS breaks new ground in the amp market to create the perfect rock sound.

An inherited historic spirit breeds the perfect rock sound
WAZA is the experience and passion of BOSS. It connects with the spirit of history, inherited from the old masters. They were combined together to create the perfect rock sound. The first tower amp is still the benchmark for current rock amps. Throughout history, master builders have worked on fine tuning to deliver the perfect rock sound. This pursuit resulted in the hard rock sound of the 1970s and 1980s, dubbed the "brown sound". With dynamics that respond to the nuances of the guitarist's playing, all the elements are present in a well-balanced brown sound, such as growling bass, strong midrange, lightness and sensitivity of the high frequency, nonchalance and sensitivity to the impact. The WAZA amplifier has two gain characteristics: one providing the classic tone of the first stack amps, and the other the perfect brown tone, carefully tuned with BOSS's own interpretation. Each amp type has four channels - Clean, Crunch, Lead 1 and Lead 2 - to accommodate tradition and innovation to the diversity of the modern rock scene.
Classic heritage combined with extensible modernity
No tube amp user will resist cranking up the volume to see how the amp responds to its peak. The ability to control the power of the WAZA amplifier allows for a richer overtone structure at any volume level thanks to a more dynamic response. The WAZA amplifier has two other features, complementing its historic spirit of innovation with modern expandability. EFX loops with serial or parallel waveform for advanced creativity combined with floor effects. A line output is also available, allowing the amplifier to be connected directly to mixers or recording devices. In this way, powerful guitar sounds can be generated as if they were being played through a speaker. The Line Out [Air Feel] switch allows you to change the character of the sound to microphone. The special [Cabinet Resonance] switch of the WAZA amplifier magically alters the audibility of the coloration of the cabinet's sound. In addition, you can use the footswitch to change channels and turn effects on or off, and the [USB Rec Out] jack allows you to record audio directly to your computer.
