The IM-409 iJAM Interface allows you to connect an XLR microphone to an iPhone®, iPod Touch®, or iPad® and listen to the sound through your headphones. Plug your headphones into the 1/8” mini jack, plug the 1/8” mini plug into the headphone jack on your iPhone®, and plug your microphone cable into the XLR jack on the IM-409. Download apps such as GarageBand, VocalLive, Karoke, etc. The circuit inside the cable eliminates popping found with other cables and does not drain device batteries or need batteries like other brands.
