The SM48 is a very durable cardioid dynamic microphone with great sound and a solid construction. It is intended to be used for both vocal applications as well as for working with voice.
What is the SM48 best suited to?
It has been designed as a vocal microphone intended for less demanding artists. It is suitable for main vocals, backing vocals, as well as for use during lectures, in clubs or for karaoke.
What are its basic features?
The SM48 has a cardioid directivity pattern that provides an excellent level of sensitivity before feedback occurs. Its frequency response is tuned for vocals, with a bright midrange and low frequency undercut for better control of the proximity effect. The cartridge has an anti-shock mount that effectively reduces noise from operating the microphone and ensures its durability.
