The TM-95GN microphone uses a condenser type unit that is known for its ability to enhance its sound quality. Unlike dynamic microphones often used in stage performances, the TM-95GN features a light diaphragm that converts sound into electricity, enabling it to record at a high level of sound quality. In addition, the TM-95GN is a unidirectional mic that only captures sound coming from the direction it is facing. You can easily capture the host’s voice only without disturbing background noise.
A condenser microphone requires phantom power, but this can be easily supplied by TASCAM audio interface such as the MiNiSTUDIO.
Gooseneck for easy mic-positioning with flexibility to provide a comfort podcasting environment
The TM-95GN features two goosenecks between the microphone and its stand. This allows users to move the mic around freely and position it as needed, so it can be easily set up for a particular speaker without use of a stand. Having both an upper and lower gooseneck means the microphone can be positioned much more easily and with more flexibility than a single gooseneck mic.

While stands are sold separately for typical industry gooseneck microphones, the TM-95GN comes with a dedicated stand which is incredibly stable and features its own ON/OFF switch. Easily power the microphone on and off straight from the stand. Simply switching the mic off when no-one is talking will prevent any unnecessary noise from being recorded.
Includes wind screen to reduce vocal pops
Positioning a microphone closer to a speaker generally results in better sound quality, but can sometimes cause what's known as "pop noise". If you find yourself having issues with pop noise, simply attach the dedicated windscreen included in order to cut this out.
Includes microphone patch cable (2.4m)
Sound is output through the XLR connector on the back of the microphone stand. The TM-95GN comes with its own XLR microphone cable so it is ready for use straight out of the box. Use these microphone cables to connect it to sound equipment such as one of the MiNiSTUDIO series models.
