The Vintage V6 series has to offer many features so far associated only with high-end custom shop guitars. The original Wilkinson WVC tremolo features classic, profiled steel saddles, giving the phrases a better selectivity. A solid cast bridge block keeps the strings in a fixed position. You just need to screw in the lever to see that the tremolo works really well.

The attention with which the sound of the series was constructed was mainly focused on the electronics of the instrument. This is how the Wilkinson Alnico Single-coil pickups were created in the configuration of three singles with the center in reverse polarity, to give the sound clarity and minimize the amount of noise. The volume knob, two tone potentiometers and a five-way switch are designed to give the simplest possible control of rich sound. In addition, the second tone potentiometer applies to the two pickups in the middle and neck position in order to quickly switch from a dark, warm tone to a bright, solo tone at the bridge. The Wilkinson WJ55 clefs with the easy-to-use EZ-Lok string lock system ensure that the guitar stays in perfect tuning for a long time, even with heavy lifting and pulling.
