The Beta 27 is an industry-unique, one-way-facing condenser microphone designed for use in professional public address systems.
WHAT IS BETA 27 BEST FOR?
The Beta 27 is the perfect microphone for amplifying various types of acoustic and wind instruments, drums, percussion instruments, piano, as well as guitar and bass amplifiers. The compact supercardioid polar pattern has a high level of sensitivity before the onset of feedback and guarantees maximum isolation from other signal sources. These features make the Beta 27 an excellent choice for stage work.
HOW DOES THIS MICROPHONE SOUND?
The Beta 27 has been designed to provide excellent transient characteristics thanks to the use of an externally polarized, lightweight and ultra-thin Mylar diaphragm. It has a flat, neutral frequency response to ensure a neutral sound.
WHAT ARE THE MAIN FEATURES?
The Beta 27 model uses the highest quality electronic components, including gold-plated internal and external connectors. It has a 3-position switchable low-frequency filter that allows you to eliminate unwanted background noise or neutralize the proximity effect. A switchable -15 dB attenuator can cope effectively with extremely high sound pressure levels. Built-in pop filter with three separate mesh layers reduces the sounds of gusts of wind and breath.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BETA 27 AND SM27?
The Beta 27 has a supercardioid polar pattern, while the SM27 has a cardioid pattern. Using the Beta 27, we can expect a more targeted reception of the sound source and its fuller sound.
