The combination of a guitar and vocal processor created Play Acoustic - a compact mini-harvester that will allow you to control the sound of your voice and your acoustic guitar in all conditions. The best vocal sounds, including high-class, natural-sounding harmonizer simulating backing vocals based on the chords you play, combined with effects from the best-selling TC Electronic guitar picks and enough amplifier emulation to quench your thirst for perfect sound, set a new standard among devices dedicated to the singing guitarist.
The guitar effects section consists of sounds from well-known and well-liked TC Electronic devices: reverbs from Hall Of Fame, modulation effects from Corona Chorus (including chorus, flanger, detune, panner, tremolo), compressor, filters from BodyRez, giving the transducer sound piezo of acoustic character and Notch Filter anti-coupling filters useful on the stage for an acoustic guitar.
Play Acoustic is not a compromise, which is why the TC Helicon designers treated the vocal section as seriously as the guitar one. For your voice, you have harmonizer effects with the option of "humanize" (double human), double vox, delay, reverb, hard tune (equalizer), transducer (megaphone, radio, telephone, drive, etc.) with its own gate and the whole range of MicroMod modulation effects. The whole is complemented by the original AdaptiveToneTM system, which works like a personal sound engineer: it automatically adjusts the compression, correction, de-esser and gate levels so that your voice always sounds clear, dynamic and sticks in the mix.
Play Acoustic is also a useful device for rehearsals and fun! This will be provided by the onboard looper, the VocalCancel option, and the device will be expanded using the optional Switch-3 foot switch. Just like TonePrint in TC Electronic devices, here you can also expand the sound library thanks to the Voice Support application, thanks to which you can upload them to Play Electric straight from your PC / Mac.
