Midas DL8 - 8 In/8 Out Digital Stagebox with AES50 Connectivity

The Midas DL8 is a professional digital stagebox that serves as a powerful hub for audio systems. This innovative device was designed with professional audio applications in mind, where reliable signal transmission and clean cabling infrastructure are essential. Thanks to its advanced features, the DL8 increases the efficiency of audio system setups, facilitating quick and precise connection of audio sources.

Product Features

The Midas DL8 is a compact digital stagebox offering 8 inputs and 8 outputs, designed for maximum reliability and sound quality. Key features of this device include: a powerful connection hub that enhances audio installation efficiency, clean cabling infrastructure thanks to PoE technology, and reliable data transmission via AES50 connectivity. The device includes 8 professional PRO preamps, which ensure exceptional quality in input signal processing. Thanks to Power over Ethernet (PoE) power supply, the stagebox does not require a separate power adapter, significantly simplifying installation and reducing the number of cables in the system. Compatibility with Midas M32 and M32R mixers ensures that the DL8 integrates seamlessly into existing audio ecosystems.

Advanced Technology for Professional Audio Installations

The Midas DL8 digital stagebox is an innovative product that combines modern technology with practical design. The device is housed in a compact 2U enclosure, allowing for efficient use of space in flight cases and rack cabinets. By integrating 8 input channels with professional PRO preamps, every signal is processed with unmatched precision and minimal noise. AES50 connectivity ensures fast and stable digital data transfer, which is crucial in environments where every millisecond counts.

The Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology used in the Midas DL8 is a revolutionary solution for professional audio systems. Thanks to this feature, all necessary power and data signaling are transmitted through a single network cable, eliminating the need for separate power wires. This means fewer power outlets, a cleaner cable layout, and faster installation times. This solution is particularly valuable in mobile and temporary systems where quick setup is essential.
