Or have you ever wondered how to record your entire live band on separate tracks? The answer is undoubtedly the Focusrite Scarlett OctoPre Dynamic.
Designed to expand the popular low-latency second-generation Focusrite Scarlett USB interface series, the Scarlett OctoPre Dynamic is also compatible with other interfaces that have ADAT input and output ports.
Connect the Scarlett OctoPre Dynamic to your interface using a standard optical cable to access an additional eight transparent microphone preamps and additional outputs. The Scarlett OctoPre Dynamic is equipped with both eight microphone/line inputs featuring 'soft-knee' compression on each channel, and high-quality 24-bit AD-DA converters with a sample rate of up to 192 kHz and a dynamic range of 109 dB for the DA conversion. The first two inputs are mic/line/Hi-Z. The high headroom of the Hi-Z inputs allows for handling active circuit guitars and guitars with powerful pickups. Furthermore, the analog outputs on the rear panel allow for powering a console and simultaneous digital recording, or connecting external processors to the DAW system.
