The Warm Audio Direct Box Passive transforms any unbalanced instrument signal into a stable balanced signal so it can safely travel the long distance to the mixer. On top of that, this little box adds the rich warmth and near-limitless headroom of a CineMag transformer. A passive DI box like this is designed for high-output instruments like keyboards, synthesizers, and guitars and basses with active pickups. If the signal is still too high, then simply take it down a touch with the stepless attenuator.
